No, bc I know that in Bethlehem 2000 years ago, there probably wasn't any snow either. Take a moment to read Luke chapter 2 in the Bible which tells us about the first Christmas where there was no decorated tree, wrapped gifts or gingerbread cookies. John chapter 3 explains why Jesus came to this world- to give us the gift of eternal life (heaven).
All that we must do is to accept Him as our personal saviour. This puts everything into perspective and reminds us that Christmas originally wasn't the giant festival of gifts and food that it is today.
