Hi How do you connect a DVR & a TV to 2 digital cable boxes? 2nd box now needed to record digital channels?

If the TV has enough inputs you can plug each one into a separate input. If the TV doesn't have enough inputs you can install a switch box.

Thanks for your response. I think I have part of this sorted out now but have a new problem. Both cable boxes respond when using the remote so even though I've connected one to DVR & one to TV, if I change the channel when using the TV the channel being recorded by the DVR gets changed.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
