They very well might. Or alternatively, they may just disappear as the Whigs did in the past Hope this helps.
The GOP traditionally nominates the previous round's runner-up; that has been true for 5 of the past 6 open nomination contests. But they never nominate a true social conservative; it's always someone acceptable to the party establishment (which is closer to fiscal conservatism). Your prediction applies to 2008 equally, but that didn't keep the GOP from picking a social RINO this round.
But because of religion (a factor not really present in the UK), the U.S. social conservatism wing will remain strong for the next generation at least. Santorum was the actual runner-up this year, but I can't picture him getting establishment support. Thus, I believe the 2016 nomination will go to the de facto runner-up, Gov.
Chris Christie, who had lots of people wanting him to run.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
