There is no technical validity in the claim. Purely marketing. The word "advanced" is vague by design.

They don't say "worlds fastest operating system" for a reason. I am a IT professional who uses a mac book pro as a personal laptop. It is a great OS for day to day to use; aside from gaming (no direct x) and I prefer it hands down over windows for basic tasks, it really is a breeze to use.

But to argue on a technical perspective it is more primitive than windows on so many levels; one has to question Apple's audacity. Without getting to into too many technical specifics, windows dominates developing. It supports a greater range of hardware and is better suited for office use and network infrastructure.

Apples reason for saying "advanced" can only be merited on the notion that the additional software it comes with built in is very well designed (iPhoto, iMovie, iTunes etc) I can personally vouch that the software mac's come with; is extremely powerful and very user friendly. Apple also could twist the meaning of "most advanced" around to emphasize its hardware simplicity as apposed to versatility. Apple supports a limited amount hardware in comparison to windows.

The lack of supported hardware is a technical weak-point for OSX, However in regards to ease of use and continuity of design; it is not a weak-point, and actually an advantage over windows. It is 100% true when Apple advertises that things "just work" every prephiral from phone, tablet, tv etc is so easy to connect to your computer if you are using all Apple hardware. There is a clear advantage to having everything Apple.

Everything is so well designed in regards to ease of use that a 6 year old or a 80 year old could sync their tv with their computer over wifi instantly. This business models of OSX and Windows are radically different. All Apple is doing is creating a niche for itself in a market where windows versatility dominates.

They don't call it "fastest/most secure/most versatile etc; for a reason. Bottom line: "World's most advanced operating system" is marketing fluff. Technically speaking.

Windows is more advanced than OSX in every way. However OSX is light years ahead of windows in regards to ease of use and design continuity.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
