How are job oppurtunities in mechanical engineering?

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm mad about all bikes and engines in general and have just submitted my application to college for mechanical engineering, which will be three years long. What aspiring mechanic wouldn't want to work for Honda or Suzuki or one of the other big four japanese motorcycle companies, but you have to be realistic.

First of all, the qualifications you'd need to work for one of the big four would be staggeringly high. And would take years to get the degree's and ph. D's you'd need for the job.

And as for the wages of 50k a month, there is very few jobs in the world, let alone engineering that would offer you 50k a month. To be honest I'd say you'd be lucky to earn 50k a year as an engineer. But regardless you have the right to follow your own dreams.

Being mechanically inclined myself I know that most mechanics are very inventive. Perhaps you are also inventive. Patent one of your ideas, and if it's successful who knows how much you could earn.

But one step at a ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
