How are plants cells different from human cells?

The major difference between a plant cell and human cell is that human cells do not have cell wall which is exclusive to plant cells. Another major difference is that human cells don’t have chloroplasts but plant cells have chloroplasts that have chlorophyll which give the green color to the plants/plant leaves. Further, human cell is round or irregular in shape whereas plant cell is rectangular or fixed in shape.

Again, human cells have small, more than one vacuole but plant cells have a single, large central vacuole. Want to know more about the differences? Check this out – diffen.com/difference/Animal_Cell_vs_Pla... The specific functions of the cell organelles make plant cells and human cells different.

For example human cells do not need chloroplasts since humans don’t have to manufacture food through photosynthesis. It is the prerogative of the plant cells. Human cells and plant cells cannot be differentiated with naked eye.

Once you observe the cells under a microscope with good resolution, you can easily make out the differences by observing the structure of the cells and by the inclusions in the cells.
