The one-year program is more popular in UK and Europe, whereas India generally prefers two-year MBA programs. In India, students pursuing MBA are generally fresh graduates. They need to be trained.

Whereas in England, students pursuing MBA programs have work experience, so one-year management education is enough for the Business schools to train them to be good managers.
