I could not find any information on injuries of a police officer for this time period but in May 1978 a security guard was injured after opening a box which exploded in his face. Still concious and able to walk, the poor man stumbled down 5 flights of stairs to a restroom where he was able to see first hand his injuries. Although bleeding quite badly he was taken to the hospital where he recoved from his injuries In May of 1979 there was another explosion at University of Ill.In Chicago.
The early bombings where for the most part targeting colleges and universities. As far as I can tell, the security guard is alive and doing well.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
