It's pretty easy to give yourself a pedicure at home. The supplies that you will need include nail clippers, a nail file, nail polish remover, lotion, nail polish, and a clear nail polish top coat. You should be able to purchase all of these for only about $20 and they will last you for years.
You can purchase all of these supplies in a drug store or large super store. After you have all of your supplies, you can give yourself a pedicure whenever you like. As far as doing the actual pedicure, you should start by removing any nail polish that you currently have on your toenails with nail polish remover and a cotton ball or tissue.
Be careful with the remover as it can ruin furniture if you spill it on anything. After removing the nail polish, use the nail clippers to clip your nails to the desired length. Next, file your nails to make them smooth and get rid of jagged edges.
Try to file in one direction only - do not see-saw back and forth as this damages nails. Next, rinse your feet to get all of the filing dust off of them. Next, polish your toenails with the main color you want to use.
This takes practice, but you'll get better at it each time you do it. Let the nail polish dry for at least ten minutes. Next, do a second coat.
After the second coat of polish dries, apply the topcoat over the regular polish and let the top coat dry for at least fifteen minutes. That's it!
As far as giving yourself a manicure at home, it is relatively easy and can save you a fortune. Basic supplies would include nail clippers, a nail file, nail polish remover, nail polish, and a clear top coat to go over the nail polish. You should be able to purchase all of these for about twenty dollars or so.
First of all, you should wash your hands. Next, clip your nails with the nail clippers to the length that you'd like them to be. Clip them all to be approximately the same length.
Next, you should take the nail fine and file each nail across the top in one direction only. Do not see-saw back and forth as this damages the nails. Once you have filed your nails and gotten rid of all the rough edges from the clipping, then you're ready to polish your nails.
Take your colored polish and polish each nail by painting three stripes from the base of the nail to the tip. Usually, people make the first stripe of polish up the middle of the nail from the base to the tip. Next, make a stripe up one side from the base to the tip.
Finally, you make the third stripe up the other side so that the entire nail is polished. You don't want the nail polish to be too thick, so dab excess polish off the brush onto the top of the bottle when necessary. After allowing the polish to dry for fifteen minutes, apply the clear topcoat in the same way that the polish was applied.
When all your nails are done, allow the topcoat to dry for at least fifteen minutes. You're done!
I have my own manicure/pedicure set at home. There are many advantages for owning a manicure set. First, since it is yours you know you are safe from contagious diseases or if you are suffering from contagious diseases, you are preventing it from spreading to other people.
So you will need the nail clipper, nail file, brush, cuticle nipper, pusher, empty polish bottle for water and shampoo, nail polish and Merthiolate Benzalkonium(protection against fungal infection and for some, coloring). Well these are what I just own. There are more tools used by professionals but it’s up to you if you like to have them, too.
You can buy these tools at your cosmetics store or online. You just have to search for manicure sets and you will be directed to stores selling these stuffs. Learning how to do it yourself is just easy.
Is this your first time to have your nails manicured? If so, you can ask a nail artist or the beautician to do it for you then just observe how she does it. It’s just so easy to learn but with your first attempts, expect some wounds haha, so be really careful esp.
When clipping your cuticles.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
