Sometimes, with Parkinson’s disease, your face is less expressive than it used to be. Integrate the following warm-up activities into your morning or evening washing ritual:Massage your facial muscles.
Practice in the mirror. Open and close your mouth; alternate smiling and pursing your lips; raise and lower the tip of your tongue, then move your whole tongue from side to side. Consciously raise your head to an upright position.
Think about how your head and neck feel. Try some verbal warm-ups, like reciting a poem or singing a song.
