How can you pay tithes if you don't the income to pay them?

Tithing has been proven to work by many people. God says he will return all that you give 10 fold. Believe it.

Your have the same problem most people have. No matter how much money you have, you can find a way to spend it. You get a pay raise, so the wife gets a new car with it's payment.

You go on vacation and put it on your charge card and make payments. You buy a boat, a condo, whatever. Those payments have to be paid, or do they?

How much stuff do you pay on that could have been worked out in some other way, or avoided altogether if you couldn't get the credit. I am poor as dirt, but I know I can still tithe. I still waste money on junk and leisure.

That could go to God's work. Plus, you can volunteer your time. If you make $10 per hour and make $400 per week, if you volunteer in God's work for 4 hours each week, you are in effect paying your tithes.

There are plenty of charity organizations that need your help. Go get to work and keep the money. God will bless you for it.

I think if you can't cover your basic expenses, then it should be okay for you not to tithe. By basic expenses I would mean your mortage or rent, food, utilities, medicines, and car or commuting expenses.

I think you don't need to worry about the tithing - give to God and s work what you want to give. The New Testament doesn't push the tithe. Jesus came to set us free from the shoulds and should nots of the Old Testament.

Now He wants us to know He already has paid the debt for your sins - there is nothing you need to contribute. He wants you to know .

So, now you need to plan that there is something first to give to God before the whole check into direct deposit. If there really is nothing left, you may be able to offer your time - teach Sunday School, sing in the choir, clean the church bathrooms, etc.
