How can you tell if the newborn kitten is getting enough milk? I don't think the mama cat is producing enough?

I answered a question this week telling someone they shouldn't have touched the kittens based on my own experience with kittens and puppies. My cat actually abandoned the kittens, the kittens died and then she ate them or attempted to.

A robin's nest fell down, with two babies in it. I managed to wedge the nest back into a tree branch, and carried the babies back into the nest. The parents continued to feed the baby robins, and they fledged.

Yet, everyone "knows" you cannot touch a baby bird or the parents will abandon them. So some of what people "know" simply is wrong. What is more likely to happen is if the mother feels a threat to the kittens by your handling, she will relocate the kittens.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
