How come princess diana was a princess but kate isnt?

Lady Diana Frances Spencer was born July 1, 1961 at Park House, Sandringham, Norfolk, England, United Kingdom. The third child (and daughter) of the 8th Earl Spencer; John Spencer and his first wife Frances Spencer (originally Frances Burke Roche and later Frances Shand Kydd). She had 2 older sisters (Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes) and one younger brother (Charles Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer).

When Diana was only 6 years old her mother Frances ran off with another man, which at the time was very strange. Diana described her childhood as a very unhappy one. She became Lady Diana in 1975 when her grandfather the 7th Earl Spencer passed away and her father became the 8th Earl Spencer.

She went to these schools: Hamilton Elementary in Norfolk, Riddlesworth Hall at Diss, Norfolk. West Heath near Seven Oaks, Kent. Followed by finishing school at the Institute Alpin Videmanette in Rougemont, Switzerland.

She left school at 16 and got a flat in London and a job as a nursery school teacher. She and Prince Charles first meant when Charles was dating her sister Sarah back in the 70's. She has stated that she didn't think much of Charles when she first saw him, she thought he was such a sad looking man and disliked him quite a bit at the time.

But it has been said she had a school girl crush on him when she was in school. She and Charles started "dating" in 1980 and after just a short time together Charles popped the question and she said yes thinking it was a joke but he was dead serious. When she learned that he was being serious Charles gave her some time to think about it when he went on his tour to Austrailia leaving her behind to think it over.

When he returned Diana accepted after knowing it's what both familes wanted, her family always wondered why they were not closer to the royals and the royals needed Charles to marry off and produce an heir and a spare. The engagement was announce on February 24, 1981 and they married on July 29, 1981. Diana had said she was thinking of backing out of the wedding the night before the wedding but her sisters famously said "Too late now Duch, your face is already on the tea towels" The wedding was watched by 750 million people and was dubbed "The Wedding of The Century" Diana was already struggling with bulimia at this time and as the marriage went on the bulimia got worse.

She said that she hated herself and when she was pregnant with Prince William she threw herself down the stairs after Charles did not listen to her and said she was "crying wolf", keeping in mind that she was with a child. Diana gave birth to two sons, Prince William of Wales (Full name: William Arthur Philip Louis) on June 21, 1982 and Prince Henry (also know as Harry) of Wales (Full name: Henry Charles Albert David) on September 15, 1984. Charles and Diana's marriage was projected to the public as a happy one but behind closed doors it was for the most part loveless.

Charles had his mistress Camilla Parker Bowles whom he ended up marrying in 2005 and Diana found love in other men. They seperated in 1992 but did not file for divorce until late 1995 after Diana had an interview on Panorama pretty much saying Charles should not be king and the crown should skip over to William (which to this day is still a popular idea). The divorce was finalised on August 28, 1996.

Diana carried on with her charitable work afterwards and still brought in the crowds whatever public event she went to. She was determind to carry on with her life, raise awareness of her causes without a royal title. One of the biggest causes she brought to attention was landmines and the damage they do to not only towns and buildings, but to people.

This was one of her last major causes that she brought to the table. In the summer of 1997 she went on vacaction with Dodi Fayed to Paris France. They couple had been followed all day.

After they had dinner at the Ritz Hotel they left around midnight and got into the mercedes. Not even 5 minutes later the driver who was "drunk" lost control of the car and crash into the 13th pillar in the Alma Tunnel. Dodi and the driver Henri Paul were dead at the scene, Diana and the body guard were badly injured.

The paparazzi continued to snap pictures of a harmed and dying princess.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
