How did Peter Pettigrew die in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'?

In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry saved Peter's life. This meant Peter owed a life debt to Harry. Wormtail was going to choke Harry to death when Harry reminded him of this life debt.

This meant that the silver hand Voldemort gave him turned on Wormtail and choked him to death instead, repaying the debt.
