Harry Potter temporarily dies in the Deathly Hallows. He has to. He was turned into a horcrux by Voldemort when Voldemort tried to kill him as an infant.In order for Harry to kill Voldemort, he has to destroy all of the horcruxes.
In order to do that, Harry had to be dead for a short time. However, Harry doesn’t permanently die. He gets put into Limbo and is released back into the real world by Dumbledore once the part of him that was the horcrux is destroyed.
