At or about the turn of the century (1900) when the camera was becoming a common tool painting changed forever. Artists were free to express themselves with their paint instead of recording the image. The camera could do that job now.
As a result, society began seeing things from fresh perspectives. Philosophical ideas flourished. This was an intoxicating time when Sartre et al became household names.
Braque (who invented Cubism) created a way to paint viewing objects from all sides at once. Of course, Picasso, who lived with Braque at the time jumped on the bandwagon and took a lot of the credit for inventing Cubism but that's another story. All this happened because of the camera!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
