I have a few tips for you. First and foremost, do not shampoo or wash the hair everyday. Doing so will make your problem worse.
You will notice by the second day your hair seems fuller than the day you wash it. Product build up absolutely helps build volume. When blow drying the hair after washing, blow dry with your head hanging upside down.
When the hair is completely dry, flip the head up and notice instant volume. Feel free to experiment with volumizing spray. It can add alot of volume to thin or fine hair.
Lastly, invest in a teasing comb. You can find these at beauty supply stores. They are just a dollar or two.
Tease the roots and then follow through by spraying with hairspray. Aqua Net is cheap and provides great hold.
