How do I connect a converter box,tv with only coax input, dvd player, and vcr so that vcr will record. Everything plays The dvd is a Toshiba & has no coax connection, only S-video and the rwy A/V connections. The vcr is an RCA & has no S-video connection only coax in and out and rwy A/V connection.
The TV is an RCA has only one coax connection. The converter box is a Motorola DCT2500 and is new from Charter. I have the rwy A/V cables going through an RF modulator with the VCR coax out going into RF mod.
And then to TV. I had cable access and only had it hooked up again a few months ago along with internet service from Charter. When I had service before there was no converter box and everything worked.
When Charter hooked me up again they brought the converter box and hooked everthing up but the vcr would not record so I have been trying to do it myself. I removed box then dvd would notplay. Did not use RF.
Charter was no help they want to sel their tvr service or whatever it is called. Asked by newuser54048362 30 months ago Similar questions: connect converter box tv coax input dvd player vcr record plays Consumer Electronics.

1 DVD player through RF modulator to TVCable box to VCR in, VCR out through RF modulator to TV. VCR has to be on whatever input channel to recieve the signal from the converter box.(it may be the VCR channel that you missed) .

2 (BTW, unless you are saving your VCR tapes for posterity, the DVR ain't that bad a thing - it'll automatically record all your programs, and you can watch them and delete them at your liesure - plus hit pause when you're watching a "live" show for a potty break. ) .

3 Did check the channel and it is set the same for all. This is for my daughter who is in college and on limited income so paying for the DVR service is not practical now. Since the box itself is from the cable company for all I know it may be "wired" so that the only way one can record may be through their DVR service.
If so, will do without until she is through with school. Thanks for your time and help. George .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
