How do I consolidate two Administrator accounts in snow leopard?

I use Mac too. I would leave both accounts on the system. I would look at the permissions for each account and see if there are any differences.

If you must get rid of an account, I would lock or disable the old account, because there may be a need for the account later, you never know. I would use the new account if your old Mac was really old. You can also put them in the same group and give the group all the permissions and/or ownership of both accounts.

That way one account can do everything the other account can do without changing the setting on the other account. If one of the accounts is named root leave it alone, or you can be in some trouble later. Also if your going to have 2 accounts make the password the same that way you will remember it.

On the the other hand this is a small security risk, but I think you will be OK. I hope this helps.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
