How do I develop a positive attitude if I have IBS?

If you have irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), try changing your thought patterns into a more positive mode through reprogramming statements. Each of the following statements will help you to reprogram negative thoughts into positive ones. Put them in a place where you will see them often, and read them daily.

Write a different one down each day until all seven are recorded, and memorize them if you wish. Make up statements that speak to you. Do this each week.

Here are some sample reprogramming statements: 1. My mind, body and spirit are one. I am healing one step at a time and that is good enough in this moment.

2. I cannot control the wind, but I can redirect my sails. I am reaching my goals for healing and peace of mind.

3. I am in control of my peace. Though my symptoms are disturbing, I will not let them rob me of my peace.

4. I did not cause IBS, but I am gaining a sense of mastery over it. 5.

I am courageously exploring all my stresses, feelings, memories and thoughts -- so that I may heal my hurts and restore my health and peace of mind. 6. I am using my IBS to get to know myself, grow and become healthier than ever before.

7. I acknowledge my power to heal and accept responsibility for my health.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
