Because of your nail biting habit you probably have badly infected cuticles. Like skin, nails can get bad infections, and should be treated by specialists. "Nail biting can cause your nails and nail beds to weaken.
Bacteria and fungi could enter these small cracks and lesions on your nails made by your persistent biting. Although some types of nail infections are easy to manage, others like nail fungus can be very hard to get rid of. " You should visit a Podiatrist or a general practitioner and get some help, now that you have stoped biting your nails, you need to get them back to health.
Congratulations on stopping your nail biting. Sorry, but that's a nasty habit. I would suggest vitamin supplements and keeping the cuticles moisturized with some good cuticle moisturizer.
I think Kiehl's has the best. Above all, DO NOT get acrylics! Even if you have healthy nails, acrylics will eventually ruin them.
I feel your pain. I too am a nail biter. I go through periodic stretches where I give it up.To get my nails to grow straight I usually have acrylics put on.
As my nail grows it will follow the path of the acrylic nail. Once your nails grow out they will be straight. This can get expensive because you have to get fills every 2 or 3 weeks.
The other thing you can do is continually shape them with an emory board. Either way it is going to take time.
I thought all nails grew down at first. Mine do, my mom's do, and all the pictures I can find online have a slight downward curve. My mom says just use clear nail polish daily, and cut your nails and start over.
Well, its not a perfect answer but the lady who holds the recorded for longest fingernails said she got her finger nails to curve around by always trying to bend them and careful manicures , sounds painful tho.
There was recently a double blind placebo controlled study done on the use of the suplement silica on nails. The outcome showed that people who took silica supplements had stronger healthier nails. Perhaps your curved nails has more to do with the strength of the nails rather than that you bit them.
Silica is very cheap and can be purchased at your grocery store in the vitamin section. I would try it for a month and see what happens. Best of luck and I hope you have beautiful healthy nails for the coming new year!
Keep your nails short, square shaped and slightly rounded on top. Trim brittle nails after a bath or a 15-minute hand soak in bath oil. Then apply a moisturizer.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
