Organize (or Manage) Bookmarks -> File -> Import ..." />
If they are stored in an HTML format you would do it this way # Firefox 2 and earlier: "Bookmarks -> Organize (or Manage) Bookmarks -> File -> Import -> From File" # Firefox 3: "Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> Import and Backup -> Import HTML... -> from an HTML File" I am guessing that you exported them from FF to begin with and if so then the above method should work. You should also be able to make your window smaller, open the bookmarks page and drag them in, or copy and paste.
If you have your bookmarks in an html file you can import that from inside the organize bookmarks area. Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> Import and Backup -> Import HTML... -> from an HTML File The import button is the little star looking button at the top of the organize bookmarks pop-up. If you don't have your bookmarks in one html file you can create it by importing the URLs into IE then exporting them as an html file.
After you take one of the other excellent pieces of advice to get your bookmarks back into Firefox, you should check out Google's Browser Sync: google.com/tools/firefox/browsersync/ "Google Browser Sync continuously synchronizes your browser settings – including bookmarks, history, persistent cookies, and saved passwords – across your computers". It's really pretty cool. If you only ever use it to restore your browser settings, bookmarks and passwords after a format, it'll be well worth the cost (free).
But if you use a couple of different computers (work and home for example) then this service can change the way you live.... well not really the way you live... but it's still awesome.
Click 'Bookmarks', then 'Organize Bookmarks'. In the new window, click 'File' then 'Import'. You can import from a file in this way.
Once signed up, sync your bookmarks. Enter your del.icio.us login information so Xmarks can import your bookmarks. You should see a list of your del.icio.us bookmarks.
Click the CHECK ALL button, then the IMPORT CHECKED ITEMS button. When Xmarks next syncs your bookmarks, you will have all of your del.icio.us bookmarks complete with tags, in a folder named "Imported from Delicious date of import". If you're the untrusting sort, change your del.icio.us account password.
There are two official Delicious extensions at the moment. "Delicious Bookmarks" which not compatible with Firefox 4.0. X, and "Delicious Extension" which is marked as compatible but doesn't actually work.
Slurp didn't work for me.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
