It's definitely possible to leave without giving notice, as they can't force you to work shifts you're unwilling to. It's unwise to not give your two-weeks notice, but it's not irredeemable. You will never be eligible for rehire within the same company.
If in 20 years you applied for a seasonal, part-time job at a Walgreens on the other side of the country, they'd automatically reject you. If you include them as a reference on future job applications, they will report that you left without giving sufficient notice. However, to correct another answerer, it is nowhere near the same as "getting fired."
It's still a voluntary leave. Many people do this, and they manage to find jobs later.
You'll get no reference from that place and you'll get pretty much. Fired and it will go to you sin so have fun finding a Job after that.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
