How do I separate my blog entries into various categories and organize my blogsite better?

Everything I post keeps going up to the top of the front page. The short-story copies I have been transcribing from a textbook aren't exactly what I'd like on the front page, so I wish there would be a way to categorize them onto whatever categories I name and choose for them not to appear at the top of the front page, while somehow keeping them publicly viewable. So, how do I set up blog-post categories for BigYesBomb. Com?

Most blogs are like that unless you make the post sticky meaning it will remain at the top. The blog software should usually have categories you can create. Wordpress's default category is Uncategorized.

You can create as many new ones as you like in Wordpress. Having said all this, I do have to point out your words: "hort-story copies I have been transcribing from a textbook aren't exactly what I'd like on the front page"=you are only supposed to be posting your own original content on your blog, not other people's work. The whole point of a blog, a weblog, is to provide fresh and interesting content..

1 I checked out your blog. I don't know how to do what you ask in this quesiton, but do have a suggestion. The background color makes it very hard to read your literary entries, and you really need to break them into paragraphs.

The words all run together and look like one big endless sentence. I gave up trying to read them about 200 words in.

EgaoNoGenki-Owari replied to post #1: 2 Those were just copied short-stories as they were required readings for my assignment. Those copies were authored by others, and I found those readings in my textbook for my Creative Non-Fiction class. I don't intend for anyone to manually read them, but just to copy and paste them onto a text-to-speech program.

Listening to it read back to you saves considerable effort, and you can download one today at ReadPlease.com. What shade of purple should the background be? I still want it to be some kind of purple because that is K-State's primary color.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
