If you already have a blog, do you keep your blog entries separate from your HubPages creations?

I actually started my blog after my HP account. I do keep them separate. I tend to use my blog for more random writing (sometimes even stream of consciousness), or for things that are purely personal that wouldn't be suitable for HubPages.

I would say I use my HP account to grow as a writer, while my blog is there to help me grow as a person.

Definitely! Hubpages is more about articles writing while my personal blog is more day to day stuffs. If I bought a gadget, I will mention the process of researching and comparing prices as well as using it.

On the other hand, in hubpages, I am more likely to write "how to" articles and the best way of using the gadgets in general terms.

I keep my blog posts separate from Hubpages so I have two outlets for my social media and web design audiences, but I do admit that since I have been on Hubpages, I have not blogged once, so HP is my new blog.

Yes. Hubpages is a good way to get backlinks or write about stuff not related to your blog. Best to keep all your content unique, no matter where you post it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
