Puppy-proof your house - do your best to keep everything chewable out of reach. You can buy covers to put on your cords. Make sure he always has access to his own toys - he needs to have hard things to chew on too, not just stuffies.

Bones or antlers are always great. You may want to look into Kong toys, too - it's a toy you can stuff with treats to occupy his attention. If you catch him chewing on something he shouldn't, remove the temptation with possible and redirect his attention to his own toys.

You didn't mention if the dog had ANY toys or chews...dogs MUST chew so provide him with dog-safe toys to chew and appropriate bones, bully sticks, cow ears, or other chews that are safe and not unhealthy... You need to get him more chew toys and as soon as he gets bored with one, put it up and get another one, make sure they aren't all just always available to him, if he chews on something he's not supposed to, discipline him and then give him something he's supposed to chew on.

He's a puppie,all puppies chew. Buy him some toys to chew on & that should help the situation out alot. The other part of the question is again something puppies do you should have puppie proofed your home before you got him.

You need to teach him discipline and show him who is boss don't let him on anything special till he learns not to chew don't be so kind otherwise he won't learn.
