How do I stop my Cocker Spaniel, Pomeranian mix from chewing everything!?

Bitter Apple spray is just 1 spray. Another one I have heard of is Bitter Yuck Sprays really work well. Professional Training can help.

Make sure you provide a wide variety of chew toys. I hope you find a Solution. If you relocate him make sure they know he has a chewing problem otherwise he could just end up being passed around a lot.

Puppy-proof your house - do your best to keep everything chewable out of reach. You can buy covers to put on your cords. Make sure he always has access to his own toys - he needs to have hard things to chew on too, not just stuffies.

Bones or antlers are always great. You may want to look into Kong toys, too - it's a toy you can stuff with treats to occupy his attention. If you catch him chewing on something he shouldn't, remove the temptation with possible and redirect his attention to his own toys.

More exercise may help as well - he should be getting at least an hour of good exercise every day. Bored dogs often chew to alleviate their boredom.

You didn't mention if the dog had ANY toys or chews...dogs MUST chew so provide him with dog-safe toys to chew and appropriate bones, bully sticks, cow ears, or other chews that are safe and not unhealthy... My 13 month old puppy also loves elk antlers and they help scrape her teeth and keep them clean...bully sticks (pull penis) and cow ears are some of her favorite daily chews and are also good to help keep the teeth clean, and are digestible... I don't know that bitter spray has acutal apples in it, but there is also a cherry scented one...they tend to work until the spray dries and then they're not much of a deterrent anymore (so consider that a temporary fix)...when your pup chews something he shouldn't, remove it from him and give him something that is okay for him to chew... Keep shoes, papers, clothes, etc away from him so they aren't easily accessible...

NaturVet Bitter Yuck! No Chew Spray for Dogs, Cats & Horses It is commonly suggested by dog trainers. It just taste really nasty to dogs.

You can get it at petco. There are other brands if that one doesn't work AKC GOLD OUTDOOR ULTRA BITTER NO CHEW SPRAY-DOG TASTE DETERRENT Hartz Maximum Protection Anti Chew Spray for Dog Bio Groom Bitter Taste Anti Chew Spray (8 oz) Top Paw™ Bitter No Chew Spray Vets Best Bitter Cherry Spray Chew Deterrent Spray for Dogs 7OZ Grannick's Bitter Apple Dog Anti-Chew Spray 1116AT 16OZ.

You need to get him more chew toys and as soon as he gets bored with one, put it up and get another one, make sure they aren't all just always available to him, if he chews on something he's not supposed to, discipline him and then give him something he's supposed to chew on.

He's a puppie, all puppies chew. Buy him some toys to chew on & that should help the situation out alot. The other part of the question is again something puppies do you should have puppie proofed your home before you got him.

Ask your vet or a dog trainer for some advice.

You need to teach him discipline and show him who is boss don't let him on anything special till he learns not to chew don't be so kind otherwise he won't learn.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
