How do tax breaks for the rich create jobs if economics would tell you otherwise?

Hasn't worked the last 10 yrs, common sense should tell us it's a failure of a plan. It also doesn't take much brains to realize that corporations and Billionaire execs can't exist without the consumer;but the reverse is certainly not true. Therefore logic tells us that the poor/middle class are the true job creators, and more efforts to assist them should be made.

No, that's a very simplistic view of what Republicans ideologically believe. We believe that taking more money out of the private sector than is necessary to run the government is bad for the economy. In addition the government shouldn't pick winners and losers by way of taxbreaks and loopholes for certain behaviors.

This only leads to distortion of the free market. Lastly, we believe that taxes and government programs should not be a means of wealth distribution. A concentration of wealth is nothing to fear because the saying "when the rich get richer and the poor get poorer" is just a myth.

The pie is not only one size, we can bake a bigger pie eg. Microsoft's success has created 10,000 millionaires.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
