What obligation do the "rich" have to create jobs - if they are given tax breaks?

Like it or not rich people cater to the consumers so they hire the people to fill the jobs created by the consumer's demands. Jerry.

See the thing is the rich own businesses. Those insane taxes you have on them have made them build their factories over seas. The insane regulation and insane liability (2/3 of all businesses will get sued).

Further more if that rich person is paying 10% less in taxes that means 10% more money they have to spend which means they will spend more money. I used to want to be self employeed but I don't see the benefit to it anymore. Sure there is potential I make more money yearly but the amount of money made isn't worth the head ake of owning it.

Let me list some of the things business owners deal with. Multiple regulations by state and federal beauracracies. This also includes fees on certian things the business uses.

Constant threat of being sued. It doesn't even have to be something you did. If one of your employees has an affair with another the business could potentially be sued for it.

Massive taxes. I have to pay taxes on the money I make I have to make contributions to all my employees taxes (7.5% for Social Security all on it's own). I might not even make money but I have to give the government a cut of my gross profit because of these taxes.

Then I get to deal with the fact that I don't get a retirement like your union job offers. When I retire the money I got in the bank is the money I have for the rest of my life. I will how ever get Social Security.

I have to pay for my own health insurance and it's often at a premium because I don't belong to a big group like a Union does. I also get to deal with the fact that if an employee can NOT work. I have to cover their shift it doesn't matter what I have or had going on if the employee isn't there I have to cover the shift.

So how about missing a family members wedding because of this? How about having to cancel or delay a vaccation you already paid for because someone can't come into work? You can't get a refund on it either.

If you want to create jobs you need to make the USA a more hospitable enviorment for businesses to be in. I don't know anyone in their right mind who would base a business in the USA if they had a choice. The super rich that you speak of such as Warren Buffet and Bill Gates do NOT pay taxes on their massive fortunes they hold it in stock.

They only pay taxes on what they have sold. But this can be easily avoided. Just sell the stock out of the USA and keep the cash out of the USA.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
