Each tribe can have a voting member position on the COG Regional Council or Board and can attend the COG transportation committee meetings. However, some tribes choose not to participate, or, if they do the tribal COG members do not attend the meetings on a regular basis. The fact of the matter is, the tribal COG members who attend regularly and participate in the process are the ones that get their projects funded.
