How Do You Calibrate A Sony Bravia HDTV?

The Bravia LCD HD is Sony's line of high definition TVs. When connecting the television with outside sources such as HD cable receivers or gaming devices, you may need to calibrate the TV. Typically the television calibrates itself automatically to the signal.

However, if you want to change the appearance of some of the features on the TV, you can by pressing a few remote control buttons. Power on the Sony Bravia HDTV and the device you want to use it with (HD receiver, Blu-ray player, etc.) Press the "Input" button and select the input the external device is connected to. The content of the external device is displayed on the television.

Push the "Menu" button. The first set of options appears for the TV Picture. Adjust anything from the brightness of the image to the actual color of the TV by selecting the option and press the right directional button to increase the amount of the item you selected, or push the left directional button to decrease the amount of the item you selected.
