The fuel pump on a 350 in a 1983 GMC should be mechanical thus the fuel pump should be located on the side of the engine near the front under the alternator. You should see steel lines going to it. (should be three) Disconnect these lines first.
Then on either side of the pump you will find a 7/16 or 1/2 inch bolt. Remove these. Very carefully break the seal to the engine that will be holding the pump to the engine block.
Make sure that the surface that you removed the pump from is free of the old gasket to ensure a positive seal when you put in the new gasket. Inside the hole that you removed the pump from should be a pushrod that has to be pushed back into place while you put the pump back on or you will not get the pump back on. Put the bolts back in and tighten them( but not too tight, just snugg)Put the fuel lines back on the way you took them off and then tighten the bolts up.
More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
