Stop eating out or ordering take out. Start cooking wholesome foods like we used to years ago. Potatoes, roasted chicken, steamed vegetables.
Healthier to eat like this and is also cheaper than buying premade dinners etc.
Also stop buying coffee for the road when you can brew it at home and take with you. You will save that way as well.
I tried it myself, so I know it works and it's not hard at all.
I'm not buying drinks (soda, fruit juices...) in the store. I can drink water.
After some time: no more sweets. I made a list of sweets (chocolate, candies, chewing gum, cookies, cakes, ice cream...anything with sugar) and never bought any when I was in the store.
Then: no dairy (milk, yoghurt, cheese, butter, anything).
I left with potatoes, rice, pasta, bread, soups, vegetables and fruits and my body was not missing anything.
It can help if you make some kind of ideology from all this: "I do not eat sweets", until I... It is much easier than: "I may not eat sweets", since this is than a constant battle with temptations.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
