How do you change the transmission fluid on a 2000 Toyota Corolla?

Jack the car up or put on ramps ,place a large drain pan under tranmission ,remove bolts to tranmission pan ,pan will comes loose and oil will spill out . Replace filter with new one ,and make sure pan gasket is good . Put gasket and pan cover back on and tighten.

Fill transmission with recommended trans oil,run car til warm and check trans oil level I must add that on the 2000 Toyota Corolla 4 speed automatic transmission there is a drain plug you can remove to drain thefluid first. After you drain it then you can remove the pan to change the filter.
