I use Method for Wood floor cleaner, and I've never had streaks. You can buy it at Target, and amazon. Com also carries it for a good price.

I was told to vacuum thoroughly and then use a warm water with a little vinegar. I use an older Hoover Floormate (model H300 - fantastic for cleaning hardwoods) which picks up any remaining water and I never get streaks. Sometimes I just use warm water alone.

I never buy the Old English Wood Floor Cleaning concentrate that came with my Floormate. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
