Warm water and a soft cloth is very good. Actually where I worked we used to take a new baby diaper and cut it into small squares. Paper towels is a complete no no and even tissues and toilet paper isn't good either.
They are all made from wood and can make very tiny scratches on your lenses. I seldom every disagree with "Footprintz" but this time I do. He or she should know better.
Because your new to wearing glasses your still getting used to them on your face. It is very common for someone getting glasses for the first time to be touching the lenses and smudging them as well. The more you get used to your glasses the less that will be a problem for you.
It won't take long and your glasses will feel completely comfortable to you.
I go to a really big shot eye clinic - and they made me glasses. And it surprised me that the man told me to clean the glasses with paper towels or toilet paper. I had always thought you'd use a soft cloth.
But he said that paper products are particularly clean - they don't have a lot of dust embedded in them - where a soft cloth hangs around for a while and ends up filled with microscopic dust particles that scratch the lenses. Anyway ........... that was the advice from the BIG BOYS.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
