If the block heater was factory installed (as it was in my GMC truck) the cord is tucked up with a zip tie right by the driver's side front wheel well I then re-routed the cord out around my grill, so I could plug in and not crush the cord in the hood.
I never used the cord on my '05 Dmax and it started fine all winter long. On those mornings where it was about -5* out in the morning, it sounded as loud as a Cummins, but it started right up and took a little longer to warm up. Used plenty of Power Service to keep the fuel from gelling.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
