If you have a cable operated throttle body it's probably a bad idle control. Depending on your parts supplier they might call the idle control an IAC or ISC or IBP. If you replace the idle control, you should first clean the inside of the throttle body thoroughly using throttle plate cleaner and either a soft brush or a rag, then run the engine for a few minutes If you have an electronically controlled throttle body, suspect a damaged throttle body or a broken wire near the connector at the throttle body.
"I have a 2003 Explorer sport and recently when the car idles the rpms pulse like someone is pumping the gas. The rpms only jump up about 500 and its seems like its getting worse. It pulses about twice a second.
Any ideas on how to fix it?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
