Um...a 14 month old who doesn't want to give up the bottle isn't "delayed"...at least not in that aspect. If he does has some developmental delays, I would concentrate on them, rather than what he drinks out of, for the time being. Even his Specialist isn't concerned with it.
Just give him some time. Having to see doctors, having his Mom pushing sippy cups on him......no wonder he wants to hang onto a something that comforts him. He's only 14mo, still a baby.
Let him have his bottle in peace. As for him wanting to drink out of something free-flowing. How about just letting him drink out of an open cup.
Sure, it will be messy for a bit, but not any messier than him pouring his juice out everywhere. Put a little water in a regular cup, and let him go to town. More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
