There is no law against it, but I don't think it is a good idea. At a year old, babies should be learning how to eat by themselves and out of bowls or plates so they can join the family and develop good eating habits. It sounds like it is more for your convenience so you can do other things or rest.

Usually, depending on how much teeth, babies that age should start eating chunky foods and not pureed, unless there is some medical reason. Also, as I seem to recollect, doctors doesn't want babies to bottle feed at that age because of the developing teeth.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
