How do you get your motivation back?

Is to never let it go in the first place. I think the concept of 'getting' it back hints that we lose it. I just think of it as 'lost' within us like misplacing a key in our house.

The trick is to clear all the clutter that may hide the motivation, focus, remember where you had it last time and rediscover it. Think about Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs - any of those levels will help us motivate ourselves. It is never that far off from where you think!

I stopped all completely for about a year. One day I was at my friends house when he was pumping iron and so I thought I'd give it a quick go. I was surprised how weak I'd got and that was enough motivation to get me back into it.

Now I just keep telling myself "I can/got to do this", and I can.

My motivation to workout comes from knowing how good I'll feel when I'm done, even if I don't feel like doing it in the first place. I also try to find new routines and change things up so my mind and body do not become bored with the routine. I also get motivated by how both my health has improved and my body has changed.

Just try to remember what motivated you at first. Try to find a partner to work out with; being at a gym all alone can get pretty boring and discouraging. Try some new workouts, some that are fun.

Maybe pick up a sport? But most of all, just tell yourself to do it. In your head, tell yourself that you want to do it when you do it, and eventually it'll become almost like a habit.

Motivation comes from within. What makes you skip? Is it the laziness in you which has overtaken the motivation?

Well, the answer is very simple. Keep telling yourself "I can do it", "I need to do it". Keep repeating this and you will be able to get back in shape.

If its not working, then ask a family member to literally push you to work out. If they do this for a week, you will get used to the rhythm and continue thereafter. Cheers,Pady.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
