Here is a cute decoration to make for Halloween or any holiday. Using hard candy and a wire wreath, you can design an attractive door wreath that will offer something sweet to welcome your guests to your home. Cut the curling ribbon into about 40 pieces (or more if desired) approximately 12" long.
Sit on a chair and place the wire wreath between your knees to hold it securely and leave your hands free. Fold one piece of ribbon over the wire wreath, holding it with both ends up and equal in length. Tie the ribbon loosely over the wire as if tying a shoelace, but do not tighten.
Place the end of the wrappers of 2 or 3 pieces of candy in the loop of ribbon and tighten the loop of ribbon around the pieces of candy. Tie a knot in the ribbon to securely hold the candy to the wire wreath. Be sure the candy is tied snugly so the wire won't show underneath.
