Its simple and quick to make fairy wings for a costume using supplies you probably have at home already! These work great for kids or adults alike Using your pliers, bend each wire hanger into an oval shape with the hook on one end. Cut pantyhose in half, so the two legs are separate.

Gently slide one hanger (non-hook side) into one leg of the pantyhose and cut about 1.5-2 inches after the end of the hanger. Set extra piece aside. Repeat with other leg of pantyhose.

These will be your top wings. Now, take your two pieces you set aside. Tie a tight knot close to where you cut (not at the top of the pantyhose.

Trim any excess material. Do the same to the other piece. Turn both knotted pieces inside out (so the knot is on the inside).
