I thought of asking after seeing this nice Christmas display which survived the pets (cats). ;-)fluffytails.ca/christmas.asp Asked by goldie080 37 months ago Similar questions: manage pets Christmas tree help hinder decorations Society > Holidays.

Pets and Christmas don't always MIX that must be a warm spot to nap! Beware of pets holding grudges! If you have pets, especially more then one, one of those nanny spy-cams would come in handy when the tree is set up.
Oh, the hoops we jump through to cater to our pets! Sources: LOLcats .
We have found that watching the cat quietly after you first put it up...you might need to use an advoidance technigue. If a noise works ( shaking a can of pennies) every time the cat gets close to the tree, or if that does not work a water pistol ar spray bottle ( water pistol is best so you only wet the cat not the whole area) don't say anything just do the avoidance tool... usually works. And very important.
Do NOT use tinsel on your tree if cast swallows any it can be fatal..also pointsettias.. it is highly toxic to cats (and dogs) if they try to chew them..one more little hint..make sure there is no chocolate around where cat can eat it..it can be fatal to dogs and cats. Anyhow..Have a merry Christmas and kitty too!.
Thankfully our cat is as old and slow as we are now but she used to just love Christmas. When she was a kitten she liked to actually climb the Christmas tree or worse yet she would climb up on the loveseat and launch herself into the tree. One day my wife was bent over putting a gift under the tree when the cat suddenly leaped out of the tree onto her back.At night we would hear ornaments rolling across the floor and shattering but of course when we got up to check she was never anywhere near the tree or the broken ornament and when we did find her she would give us that all too familiar innocent look.
Worst of all though we used to use some of those little icicles made out of foil and she liked to eat them. They didn’t hurt her but only about half of the icicle would pass at a time. I won’t go into any more graphic details but she would run through the house looking like she was being chased by a demonic bit of cat pooh.
Now at 13 she occasionally goes up under the tree and takes a nap but that’s about it. We stopped using those icicles after her first Christmas with us by the way..
We wouldn't have a non-house-trained pet. So they all would already know that's not what that tree is for. And, if they forget, I am very severe with them (which is why they don't forget.) Thrown outdoors and spend the whole night out there helps in the really important training.

Where can I find out door Christmas decorations, not just lights.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
