Since you are 12, you want an animal that will live longer then 2 years but shorter then 6 or 7 because you don't want to just leave the pet on your parents when you go off to college. I suggest a guinea pig or rabbit. Guinea pigs can live up to 10+ years but usually it is about 6-8 years.
Rabbits live to be 3-4 years but my two lived to be 6 and 7 years. Rats, surprisingly, only live about 3 or 4 years. Mice live about as long as hamsters, about 2-3 years.
Birds can live for a very long time, can be hard to take care of, and need a big cage. You best bet is a guinea pig, they live to be about 6-8 years and they are great to watch and handle. They need to have a big cage though, so not a store bought one.
I suggest you build a C&C cage because they are cheaper and you can make them however you want. Here is a great website for cages and lots of other things... http://www.guineapigcages.com I hope I helped and feel free to message me if you have other questions.
Think about adopting a small rat or rabbit! I have a rabbit named coco chanel, Not only is she the most adorable thing ever, She loves the snow! I walk her on a leash ( she thinks shes a dog ha ha!
) Shes litter trained but mostly spends her time in a dog bed in my bunny safe room. They are some what easy to take care of :.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
