How Do You Repair A River Raft?

Repairing an inflatable raft requires some knowledge and a good repair kit. Bring a repair kit on every trip and know how to use it. Include the following in your repair kit: patching material, solvent, sandpaper, roller, scissors, needle, thread and adhesive.

Wipe soapy water on the raft to determine the location of the leak. Bubbles will appear at the site of the leak. Cut the patch to fit.

Round off the patch's corners. Rough the area to be covered with sand paper. This helps the patch and raft adhere.

Apply two coats of adhesive. Be careful not to trap air under the patch itself. Roll the patch on with a roller.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
