I love finding a bargain, and thrift stores are one of my main sources of adventure! As a seasoned thrifter, I have developed a strategy for saving time and money when shopping for clothes in a second-hand shop. Use your local phone book to locate the thrift shops in your area.
Depending on how much time you have to shop, allow 30-45 minutes to spend in each store. When you enter the store, take a minute or two to do a walk-through and get a general idea of the store's layout. If you are looking for in-season clothing items, narrow your search down to the type of items you are looking for--long-sleeved, short-sleeved, sleeveless, pants, shorts, skirts... Narrow your search down again by color.
Many thrift stores arrange the clothes according to color and make your task easy. Pull out only clothing items in the colors you wear. Put all potential purchases in your buggy.
When you have been through all the racks of the type clothes you are shopping for, make a closer inspection of the ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
