This is a very hard one... I always teach my seven year old boy that he must always walk away from a fight if possible, to ignore the name calling etc etc...to go tell a teacher...but I also tell him that if he is cornered and cannot get away he must not just stand there and get hit, he should fight back as the very last resort.

2 Great idea Boatman.... I sent my son to karate classes when he was 7, he wanted to join anyway at least they get to learn the value of control and since my son was one of the shortest (he is now 6'3") It taught him how to protect himself, respect and the numerous ways to become a better person.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
