How does a Local Public Agency (LPA) make the public aware that it is covered by Title VI?

All LPA’s and any other Federal aid recipient/subrecipient have an obligation to notify the public that they are bound by Title VI and program requirements. A Policy Statement recognizing Title VI and its requirements is a good way to satisfy this requirement. The Policy Statement certifies that the LPA understands its responsibilities under Title VI.

It can serve as notice to the public and can be published in the local newspaper and on the LPA’s website. It can also be adopted by the LPA’s Board or Commissioners as another way to showing support for the concept of ensuring and preventing discrimination. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
