I submit two ways. One is the whole give and not receive thought. Now would be a blessed time to give what you do have (time?
Experience? Skills? ).
The idea is that when you are most in need, that is the time to give. When it hurts is when you can give the most, it will mean the most. The story of the widow's mite comes to mind.
A more practical help is to focus on online revenue. In today's economic climate job prospects may not rebound anytime soon. Hard candy Christmas for everyone it looks like.
But you could put that master's degree to work writing hubs and generating revenue. Look into the 100 and 30 Hub Challenges. It may not payoff before Christmas but write 100 hubs before Christmas, it could really help with monthly income in 2010 and beyond.
What you mean you are one of the millions that the Government doesn't count as unemployed because even though you have no job you are not unemployed in the eyes of the Government. So much for statistics!
But to answer your Christmas question... it's my understanding Christmas is not a celebration of materialism. So in theory anyway one does not need a job or money to celebrate Christmas. But what is Christmas anymore the celebration of Jesus or the Celebration of Santa Claus?
I agree - help someone else. Go to Volunteer Match.com. You might just be helping yourself, too - often you find out about jobs that aren't advertised when you're working somewhere, even for free.
If you want to write, Demand Studios is always looking for writers. They publish eHow, Livestrong, etc. I've been paying my bills that way for a few months now.
Talk to me on my blog! I will get you in the sprit, cheer up sorry saps! Its not all that bad!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
