How does the Verizon family plan compare to other family plans?

Well, lets take a look shall we :D Lets look at Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint Family Plans. Maybe if I feel I have a good deal, I'll tell you who I'm with :D Lets consider all these plans are only for 2 lines, and you want talk and text and web plans. Verizon: ~Nationwide Family SharePlans~ -700 Shared anytime min - $99/mth - 45cents per min after allowance.

-1400 Shared anytime min - $119.99/mth - can pick 10 friends and fam†- 40cents per min over allowance -2000 shared anytime min - $129.99/mth - can pick 10 friends and fam†- 35cents per min over -Unlimited** min - $149.99/mth - no need to pick 10 friends. No overages ** Nationwide Unlimited Anytime Minute Plans are not eligible for any monthly access discounts. € Applies to voice calling only.

~Data Packages~ -Device-Feature phones - no monthly access per line - pay per use data allowance - 1.99 per MB - $5 email svc -Device -Feature phone and 3g smart phones(email and web for Blackberry/SmartPhone) ; -------------$15 - 150mb data - $15/150MB - Email Included. -------------$29.99 - unlimited data allowance - no overages - Email included. Data package of $15 or higher required for 3G Smartphones.So, assuming you would get a Smart Phone, and wanted unlimited talk and text, and unlimited data/web, you would be paying: $149.99 Unlimited plan +$29.99 Unlimited data ----------------------------------- $179.99 + taxes, plus activation fees (if applicable), and if you get charged to use services like 411.

+insurance ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ok. So now lets look at T-Mobile. Lets assume you are wanting just the Even More Plus plans - with no annual contract rather than getting the 2 year contract.

-750 min +unlimited text/web - $109.99/mth -1500 min +unlimited text/web - $119.99/mth -3000 min +unlimited text/web - $139.99/mth -Unlimited min +unlimited text/web - $139.99/mth ----Keep in mind blackberry requires unlimited web, regardless of the plan... $30.00/mth So, lets say we wanted a blackberry from T-Mobile. And we want unlimited everything. $139.99 Unlimited everything +30.00 Blackberry web plan --------------------- $169.99 +tax, 411 charges if you use it, and activation fees if necessary, + insurance.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Alrighty... Now onto Sprint. Again, we will just say that you want unlimited everything - talk, text and web. Again, family so 2 lines.
-Simply Everything Family - Unlimited web, email, blackberry internet service, GPS navigation, sprint tv and radio, nascar sprint cup mobile, unlimited direct connect (for capable phones), unlimited text pics and videos, unlimited talk and nationwide long distance -$189.99 -Everything Data Family w/ any mobile anytime - any mobile anytime (unlimited mobile to mobile regardless of carrier), unlimited data (web, email blackberry internet svc, gps, sprint tv and radio, nascar sprint cup mobile), unlimited text pics and videos, Talk- night/weekends starting at 7pm. ----------1500 min to share between 2 lines (these min do not include mobile to mobile) - $129.99 ----------3000 min to share between 2 lines (these min do not include mobile to mobile) - $169.99 I like Sprint when it comes to family plans. You have flexibility with the unlimited.
With the Everything Data Family plan, you get mobile to mobile and those minutes do not count against your talk minutes. The talk minutes are whenever you call a landline (doctors, 800 numbers, businesses, etc). So lets go with that plan, because unless you use your phone for business as well, you would not really need the more expensive plan for $189.99.
So, lets say that you don't call very many businesses, and most of your calls are to other mobile numbers, you would probably want the 1500 mins. Lets do the math. $129.99 - 1500 min, unlimited mobile to mobile, unlimited data ----------------------------- $129.99 -- +taxes, any fees for using services such as 411, and activation fee if necessary.
Also include any insurance for your phone. This is the plan that I have. I have Sprint service, and use this plan.
Maybe I am biased, but Sprint has really great coverage. I had Verizon previously, and yea, they have great coverage and Ok customer service, but I really do love Sprint. Depending on where you live, you should look into Cricket Wireless.
(www.mycricket.com) They are nationwide now. Granted, you cannot get free phones with them like you can with the other three companies, you can get mail in rebates on some. They have unlimited everything and data, on a 3G network, for as low as $45/mth.
The most expensive plan is $60/mth. They do have Android and Smart Phones available to purchase too.So, there is your comparison of the 3 major companies, and some info from another that may interest you... I know its a lot, but its detailed! Good Luck!
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
